Listed below are but a few tearooms that are serving their Valentine's Day Specials. You can contact them directly for your reservations:

Morning Glory Tea Room in West Union, IA will serve a Valentine's Day Supper in two sittings at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. On the menu is a Prime Rib dinner and Vegetable Lasagna. Sittings are by reservations only.

Historic Shea House located in Council Bluffs, IA will serve a Valentine's Day Candlelight Dinner. Call for reservations.

Peppercorn Pantry Tea Room & Gifts in Aplington, IA is having a Valentine's Day evening event. Call for more information.

Thymes Remembered Tea Room in Perry, IA will serve a Valentine's Day seven course dinner in two sittings at 5:45 pm and 7:45 pm. Cost per couple is $70. Call for reservations.

Gables and Gardens in Boone, IA will serve a Valentine's candlelight dinner in two sittings at 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Cost per couple is $34.95. Call for reservations.

Lasting Impressions Tea Room & Gifts in Clarion, IA will serve a Valentine's Day Supper between 5:30 pm and 9:00 pm. Cost per person is $9.95 with a selection of menu available. Call for reservations.

Canterbury House in Ankeny, IA will serve a prime rib dinner. Cost per person is $25.00. Call for reservations.

Cottage Sampler Tea Room & Gift Shoppe in St. Angsar, IA will serve a Valentine's Day Supper in two sittings at 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm. Menu includes a choice of steak filet or seafood platter and cost per person is $19.95. Call for reservations, limited sittings.

Victoria's Treasures & Tea Room in Breda, IA will serve a Valentine's Day prime rib dinner or sirloin steak and shrimp dinner with complimentary wine. Cost per person is $19.95. Call for reservations.

Try this simple recipe for your pleasure!

STRAWBERRY VALENTINE PIZZA

Roll out cookie dough and shape into a heart. Place cookie dough onto pizza pan and cook according to directions on package. Cool.

Combine cream cheese, Cool Whip and sugar. Blend well and frost cookie with topping. Top with fresh sliced strawberries. Refrigerate.

Share it with your loved ones.
